In the town of Burton of Birmingham region, Kafan o
dafan training took place in English on the 17th November.7 sisters attended
the session which covered the method of giving ghusl to the deceased and the
correct way to put on the shroud (kafan).
The sisters also gained knowledge on the rulings of mustamil (used) water and israaf. Sisters were encouraged to take
notes and prepare to give the test so they can support their community. 1
sister praised the session as it was her first time attending and made the
intention to download the app and watch the practical method.
